Temporary Employment

Temporary Employment

TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT - THE SPRINGBOARD TO INDUSTRY.

There is still a lot of criticism about temporary staffing. Temporary staffing is often associated with wage disputes and the low-wage sector. However, it is worth taking a closer look at the individual companies that use this instrument.

Jobs for engineers, technicians and specialists and managers.

We at MCG Memmingen, for example, offer highly qualified employees (mainly engineers and technicians in the automotive and aerospace industries, but now also specialists and managers in other areas) a springboard into industry. Through temporary employment, the employees can start working for the company in question quickly and without complications. This benefits both sides - the employee and the company.

Entry accelerator for temporary staffing (ANÜ)

The "entry accelerator" here is temporary staffing. This is due to the fact that when a position is created, lengthy processes are often set in motion by the company's HR department. For example, the works council must be informed (depending on the company), the position must first be advertised internally for some time, the internal applicants must all be screened in advance, and only then is the position often advertised in public. All this ties up resources and costs a lot of time!

Employee leasing speeds up this process massively!

Departments do not have to go the complicated and lengthy way via the HR department but can request their support directly via the purchasing department. If both sides agree, the employee can theoretically start the next day. The time between advertising the position and the employee starting work at the company is thus shortened enormously. We therefore see the instrument of employee leasing as a springboard for our employees in well-known companies in the industry and as an opportunity for our customers to fill open positions very quickly.

All candidates receive a permanent position directly.

"All candidates who start employment with us receive a permanent position directly. However, our business model aims to select our employees so well that they are taken over by the customer after a certain time of working in our company via employee leasing!", says Michael Haas, Managing Director at MCG Memmingen GmbH. "We offer projects and positions that are almost exclusively provided for by the customer with the option to take over. Projects or positions that only have a short duration in changing companies are not to be found in our portfolio."

"Exceptions to this are candidates who would like to explicitly work in several and different projects in their professional career in order to gain a wide variety of experience in a short period of time and thus become particularly qualified," Michael Haas knows. "However, this is then always already after prior consultation and career planning of the respective candidate."

Our "accolade", the move from MCG to the customer.

"In general, we are focused on bringing our employees, after a certain period of permanent employment in our company, transition-free into a permanent position with the customer. If this succeeds, it means for us the "accolade" and we have done everything right for all parties involved (applicants, employees, customer and us)", says Annika Kohout, responsible for recruiting at MCG Memmingen.

We are also happy to provide proof that employees who are first employed by the customer through temporary staffing are not financially disadvantaged.

Member of the collective bargaining association of iGZ Interessenverband Deutscher Zeitarbeitsunternehmen e.V.

We have therefore naturally joined the collective bargaining association of iGZ Interessenverband Deutscher Zeitarbeitsunternehmen e.V.. The employers' association with the largest number of members in the German temporary employment industry stands for good temporary work and is characterized by seriousness, competence, ambition, progressiveness and closeness to the basis. This is also what the iGZ code of ethics stands for and these are the values we at MCG also stand for.

Well-trained and qualified employees must be well paid. "In our view, good training and qualified employees must also be well paid. It makes no difference whether we are talking about temporary staffing or some other form of contract," Michael Haas continues.

The fact that employees and applicants are satisfied with the performance and business model of MCG Memmingen is also reflected in the employer ratings on kununu: KUNUNU-REVIEWS
