Basketball star Alex King, Paralympic table tennis star Thomas Schmidberger and extreme climber Thomas Huber introduced children to the sports of #basketball and #tabletennis at the Peak Performer Kids Camp in the #Kitzingen Innopark arena on June 10 and 11. But not only physical components, but also mental strength as well as personal exchange with the #sports stars were on the program.
Tom Schmidberger - European champion, vice world champion and silver medalist at the Paralympics as well as three-time world number one in Paralympic table tennis. He was present in #Kitzingen and showed that physical limitations are no obstacle to enjoyment.
Alex King - former German national basketball player and three-time German champion, imparted his very personal tips and tricks to the children on both days with a lot of wit and charm.
Thomas Huber - extreme climber, took the kids on his exciting adventures in the mountains and how he went to his limits and beyond every time there.
Exciting and #personal conversations with all the sports stars accompanied the two days with the children. Learning from the pros, leaving the #comfort zone, that it's fun to #achieve and get ahead under your own steam was the goal of this Peak Performer Kids Camp.
